Default The Layalty Pledge

bet everyone used to say this in primary!
halafu mume geuka inchi?

I pledge my loyalty to the president and the nation of Kenya
My rediness and duty to defend the flag of our republic
My devotion to the words of the national Anthem
My Life and strength in the Harambee task of our national building
My service to the course of Peace love and Unity
In the living spirit embodied our National Motto harambee nyayo.

namuli kunywa maziwa ya nyayo under oath!

The choices we make dictates the kinda life we lead

I was never able to recite the whole thing by myself and only fumbled along with the crowd.

It's amazing you still remember that!

Trust me...english was too hard let alone memorizing the short verses....I would mumble and fumble then when everyone said "Harambee...nyayo"...thats when you heard my voice come out distinctly!

I have never been a fan of these types of statements as they seem like a type of mental programming to me. I have my own mind and I have my own ideas. There is a lot wrong with my county and it will only be by right action and strong willed people that we correct it. You know many other nations look down upon us because of our many problems. Most if not all of those problems we have brought on ourselves by allowing idiots to dictate policy. This should change and perhaps with the internet it will be easier for us to corrspond and share ideas and information.
No I am not a terrorist, I have much national pride, but I am tired of those in power making the same mistakes that cause the rest of the world to look down on us. If you can't do better then get out and let someone with fresh ideas give it a try. Its a new world order and some of use want to be part of it.
