    Default Book Collectors?

I've always loved to collect books, even if I've read them once or even a few times. I see so many places that trade books for others, so I was wondering is it rare to be a book collector? None of my friends really collect books..and many are not buying books at all anymore and are solely using the Kindle.

I collect books. I find it hard to part with them, even if I have read them already. And no, I don't like ebooks. Hate them. I am still a traditional book lover. There's nothing like being able to touch the book, flip through its pages and smell them.

I also collect books. I started this hobby when I was young so I think have a good number to be happy about! It seems eBook readers have made some people shift from the traditional printed copies to the electronic versions...but like you said, nothing compares to the feel and smell of going through the pages of a book. It may be awesome to have hundreds of books stored in your Kindle list but I guess having shelves filled with books is a prettier sight!

I don't think many people do this but I have a collection of inspiration and spiritual (Christianity) books.

I love books and I have collected pocketbooks since I was in high school. I used to buy romance books, but as I grew older, my taste changed. My Harry Potter collection is the one I treasure most at the moment.

One of my closest friends has a wonderful library at home. It is the warmest and most comfortable place ever. She says books are like friends so she rarely parts with any.

Now that you mentioned it, I have to say rooms with books on shelves indeed feel warmer and cozier compared to rooms without them. Maybe books really do emit a kind of energy, considering how we sometimes pour emotions over whatever we are reading.

I still have a set of children's books from when I was a child. Actually, my sibling has half and I have the other half.

I read the classics like The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Little Lord Fauntleroy, The Little Princess, The Secret Garden, Just So Stories, Peter Pan, Pollyanna, Around the World in Eighty Days, etc. when I was a kid. And I still have these books until now.

I love books and I have hundreds, including a few collections from book clubs and the like. Books are important; they give a different feeling than a computer does.
