Post Solution to expensive gas price!

Everybody is complaining about the high gas prices. It has gotten to a point where buying a car is easier with all the discounts "shop till you drive" promotions compared to maintaining one especially fueling it.

They have been looking for alternative energy source rather than oil and gasoline with no success so far that is affordable to every man.

I have thought about it and to me is seem like we have had the solution all along. Why don't we go back to the olden sources of energy that can never diminish like wind and solar energy. As for transport we can use donkeys, horses and canoes for overseas traveling. Hey let me hear your ideas but remember the expensive prizes of gas affect the price of everything else.

Why not use a bike, if it's not a special occasion that your going to. You can avoid traffic, it would help to exercise your body, avoid the high price of gas. Or just simply walk if your in places like New York and L.A. But that's not appropriate for all time and all occasion.

If you absolutely have to use a car, there are option that would save you on gas milage, e.g. gasing up in the morning when the gas is denser thus spending less, checking tire pressure, changing worn out tires, etc there are other ways to increase one's gas milage , I need more tips bana let me hear them........

Wind and solar energy sounds great but is not feasible in any way. The electricity they produce is small and they cost way too much in terms of investment. I do not know any solution to this oil price mess. Maybe we should all drive less and take the public transportation systems more.

Using horses and donkeys for transportation would not be feasible because people are living farther and farther out of the city center due to high land prices. I can not imagine how many horses we will need to move the people of Nairobi to their respective destinations.

I do not know if there is a solution to higher gas prices. Obviously, the most simple answer would be for everyone to leave their cars at home and commute to their work or respective destinations. It would solve the traffic problem and lower demand for gas prices.

I have read an article on T. Boone Pickens' initiative to increase the energy independence of the United States. He wants to build wind and solar farms across the United States to free up the use of natural gas into electricity. The natural gas would then be used for powering cars and trucks. Sounds like a feasible idea, doesn't it?
