Default SUV or car?

I am thinking of buying a used automobile. What do you think should i buy? A car like a corolla or an SUV like the CRV?

Well it is a hot topic at our place too.My husband wants a CRV for his personal use, but is worried about the maintainance that it will require, the other option is some automatic version from Honda.I am afraid we all will make him change his mind and make him buy Honda.

That depends on your intended use of the vehicle. If you plan to go out of Nairobi, buy the SUV but if you are a city rat, the car would be a good choice.

It also depends on your budget because SUVs are more expensive than cars. SUVs also consume much more petrol than cars and with petrol prices nowadays, it is better to stick to cars.

It depends on the purpose. But if you will consider the energy costs, I think the Corolla will costs you cheaper gasoline consumption. As compared to the CRV which consumes more gasoline.

I bought a used honda civic to replace our family's used minivan and I am happy with it. However, there are times when I when I wished that I bought an SUV instead because of bad roads. So I guess my suggestion is that you should go for an SUV because of their versatility.

that is really a tough choice. what it really comes down to is what will be the primary purpose of the vehicle? to get good mileage or to have more room?

We used to have a big SUV that guzzled gas so we traded it in for a 4 door sedan. I thought I would miss the storage and hauling capacity of the SUV, but the gas savings have made up for the loss

SUV is good for family use or if you love to travel. but like what the other poster mention, the maintenance is quite difficult and expensive. cars are also good. i don't see any problem with it.

Right now as I Write and I am about to submit this post, I will bet that majority of U.S driver will overwhelmingly vote for in a landslide for you to buy a car like a corolla.

With all the gloomy news about the state of the economy and no visible short term solution to all the problems affecting the economy, I will be comfortable in a car, who knows what the price may get to next?

Hey but if you are doing well, and won't mind the gas price, then I belief you can be able to get a really good bargain on an SUV.
