India has become the second largest exporter of goods to Kenya, posing a threat to its race with China for control of Africa’s fast-growing consumer markets.

According to the reports of the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, the value of India’s exports to Kenya hiked by 18.7 per cent of Kenya’s total imports in the first eight months of the year compared to China’s 16.7 per cent of imports.
