Apple has announced that it will stop all of its iPhone sales from its stores in China for the time being after large crowds disrupted the launch of the iPhone 4S.
An Apple store in Beijing’s Sanitum area wasn’t opened after large crowds gathered outside in anticipation of the launch.
The crowd became violent and started throwing eggs causing running battles with the police.
China is the largest market of mobile phones in the world and is Apple’s second largest market.
However, Apple said customers in China can still buy the phones either through the China Unicom, or the Apple online store and other sellers who are authorized.
