“The Tudors” star Jonathan Rhys Myers reportedly attempted to commit suicide.
The troubled 33-year-old actor- who has been fighting alcoholism in recent years- was taken to a London hospital after he reportedly took pills at his home.
He was found slumped on his Maida Vale, Central London property on Tuesday evening.
Paramedics rushed to the address after receiving an emergency call, but had to contact the police after he refused treatment at the scene for around 30 minutes.
The actor was discharged from hospital during the early hours of Wednesday morning but refused to speak with reporters.
Myers had checked into a rehab in South Africa earlier this month; the fifth time he has attended a clinic for help.
The Irish born star’s film credits include “Bend It Like Beckham” and “Alexander”, he has also worked as a model for the designer label Hugo Boss.
