Paris reported that she in no doubt knew her $2.8 million worth of jewelry which was stolen from Hollywood Hills home.

Reports came later that when cops recovered most of it, they returned it to Paris whereby it turned out that some of the stolen jewelry was on loan from Damiani, a fancy chancy jewelry shop, and their insurance company thought the Damiani jewelry was part of the hoard the cops returned to Paris.

As an eveidence from Paris, she denied by persisting that she didn't get the Damiani jewels back, so the insurance company filed a lawsuit against Paris for the items.

Later on, the insurance company has believed that Paris was telling the truth all along, and never got the jewels in question back from the cops letting Paris’ case n court being closed up.
