When making covenant there should be; participants, promises should be made, witness, a sign, a ceremony and the consequences. What else do you think is contained in a covenant?

What of when sealing it? And is sealing a component of a covenant? How important is it?

A written document should be included where the signatories sign, and all participants get a copy each, so that in case of violation to the conditions of the covenant there is proof for penalty. This should be vitalised as in marriages and such like covenants. It is in the Old Testament that an animal sacrifice was made and bloodshed as a covenant seal but it rarely happens in today’s setup.
