Is Sin the Absence of Faith?

If a person has faith in God does it imply that he/she doesn't sin? In other words, does it mean that people who have got no faith in God are the ones who sin?

I don’t think that is the case. “Without faith we cannot please God,” so when you lack faith you are sinning against since you are doing the opposite of pleasing him. But when you have faith and you make a fault you will remember Him as the only remedy. David had faith in God but sinned against God by marrying someone’s wife, but since he trusted in God and sought God’s forgiveness he was forgiven and accepted back.

Sin is not lack of faith but failure to believe and obey instructions. By faith our answers are granted. Sin is violation of God's command.
