Default Elisha Raises a Death Son

    2nd kings 4:32-35

When Elisha came into the house, he saw the child lying dead on his bed. So he went in and shut the door upon the two of them, and prayed to the lord. Then he went up and lay upon the child, putting his mouth upon his mouth his mouth, his hands upon his hands; and his eyes upon his eyes and he stretched himself upon him, the flesh of the child became warm. Then he got up again, and walked once to and fro in the house, and went up, and stretched himself upon him; the child sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.

Elisha was a powerful prophet of God fro the power of God was in him he healed the sick, and even raised the death. From the above story the mother of the child owned that only child, who laid and died on the laps of her mother, the mother with faith and believe traveled to seek Elisha who she knew could raise the boy.

Similar to Christians today, they can too posses the ability to perform wonders to people’s lives as Elisha did, only if we seek to know God and ask for his great powers

Do you believe that the current Christians can work wonders and miracles to other people’s lives?

Of course, but what is needed is the kind of relationship they have with God in order to perform wonders and miracles. Remember Elisha in all of his life time, served God faithfully. To also do the same, you need God’s anointing and you require living a holy life with Christ Lord.
It is true that gifts for best friends express friendship thoughts and emotions.

I believe in miracles and nothing seems minor not to be regarded as a miracle. Seven is a symbolic number denoting completeness and perfection. When the boy sneezed seven times he became whole. I really do not know why or what could have happened if the sneezing was done only twice or six times but then it was the work of God and we need not question. As we learn, faith restores our hope and joy for though it our prayers and wishes are granted from the Lord. The world today seems to drive out faith and that is why people go to seek help from magicians and sorcerers. Only God heals.

For miracles to happen to us then we must have absolute faith in God, Elisha had faith in God and he also maintained a good relationship with God.We should cling on to our faith and not be swayed by what we see in today's world because iit is by faith that we please God and it is by faith that we receive our miracles.
