Is Heaven A Long Distance?

Jesus arose from the dead and ascended to heaven, this is after the heaves opened, during his baptism the heavens too opened, and when Stephen was stoned to die heavens opened, and in revelations John describes that he saw an open heaven.


As Christians we are assured that heaven for sure exists, but to our amazement, is it a long distance to go or achieve and even see.


Heaven isn’t a short distance to go, with trials on the way, opposition, rejection and all sorts of trials; the distance is lengthened each day, and we should then seek through prayers the strong faith and spirit of God to guide us walk the long distance heading to heaven.


Do you consider heaven a long distance to go as a Christian?

It is a long distance considering what it takes to reach there. To forgo your desire and dedicating all your life to God, to persevere trials and rejections even from your own family, all these aren't easy to overcome but in faith you will. Therefore is a long distance.

We have heaven with us only that we are making it far by sinning even after Christ died for us on the cross. If at all we do what is eight then we are in heaven spiritually. Elijah went there with chariots of fire; Jesus just went as people were seeing. So we can too go there if we want no limits because that is where we are destined.

The journey of faith and salvation is not that easy for on the way are wild beasts, great challenges indeed which draw us back when we feel we cannot bear it anymore. We must as believers go through the jungle before we reach heaven for everything good begins badly. Let not our sins make us see heaven as being too far for it is already here with us.
