    Default The Cast out Dragon

Many times we ask ourselves as to where sin originated from and who brought it into being. In the holy books of history we learn that when God made heaven and earth everything was good and pleasant to Him, the world was faultless, until one angel strayed and disobeyed the commands of the creator.

How beautiful and a peaceful place the world would be to live in were it not for the ill acts of Satan? But then God is omniscient and knew all this would happen and so he made the plan for mankind’s salvation even before the foundation of the earth was laid.

Lucifer was among the heavenly angels who sung praises unto God. He had nice vocals, beautiful and with a position to lead the choir. He instead turned out to have pride for his nice features, looking down upon his fellows, wanting to compete with the creator.

After a serious fight in heaven with other angels, Lucifer was cast out of heaven into the world and with him came his angels with evil deeds and minds as we read in Revelation 12: 7, 8. He decided to corrupt man whom God had made without fault. He succeeded. Sin entered the world and still is to date.

In Ezekiel 28:15-19 Lucifer, now Satan was created blameless until iniquity was found in him. He became proud because of his beauty and was cast in front of everyone so that all would see how wicked and sly he was. He was consumed in fire.

The serpent came and corrupted the world with sin and is here still to destroy to peril those who are weak but the steadfast in faith stand and conquer to the end.

Many people have the serpent seed in them and the devil is using them to spread the ill breed through ages, yet we ignore the commands of our creator God and His unending and unconditional love. That is why God has reserved us from having some things in life as riches, beauty, prominent position and such like things, which otherwise would source evil in us. He has let us live humbly so that we can live to glorify Him.

We know very well that whenever breaks the law sins for laws are there to let us walk in liberty if only we obey them. From the time he went filthy, the devil has remained the father of lies and these are what he refers to as right. He spares no one especially believers. Sinners are already his and so he is not interested in them. He roams like a lion hunting prey.

We however have the powers to refute the devil in the powerful name of Jesus. At times we become so lenient to Satan and we get overcome by his tricks. He uses what we say, think and do to influence us into sin. He uses what we love most to bring us into temptations.

After judgement the devil and his followers shall be destroyed in Hades fire, and die the death of all that he deceived. He will bear the whole pain of the souls he led to hell. This is when God shall bring all trouble to an end and it shall never rise again. The chosen lot shall rejoice in the clouds into their new home in heaven to live happily with God.

    Default The Dragon

The dragon refers to Satan. We encounter Satan first in the book of Genesis chapter three; he appears in the form of a serpent whereby he deceives Eve to eat the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden. He is a liar the father of lies. Those who do evil do them because they're from their father the devil and they have chosen to do things according to the desires of Satan.
John 8:44 You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
We have the power to refute the devil and that power is in Jesus Christ and his father. Let us seek him through prayers and believing in Him. In God let us trust that there is nothing impossible.

Satan just like other angels was created by God. His role later on changed when he became evil and was cast out of heaven. The story of Lucifer is evident that pride comes before a fall. He had everything, very angelic, a beautiful voice and abundant beauty; he appreciated neither of this and wanted more. He wanted to be like God! Even when he was finally thrown from the garden of Eden, he never gives up his evil nature. He has done so many evil things through man whom God created and is trying to lure all the world including the church into his service. However if we are strong in Christ then we will have no reason to worry about. All we need to do is keep the faith.

So the fall of Satan comes as a result of being too proud and wanting to be like God or more than God. This is a warning that pride leads to our fall. We should appreciate and thank God for what He has given us instead of bragging that it is due to our intelligent and powers that has enabled us to achieve what we have.

Refer to the Holy Bible what happened to king Nebuchadnezzar's pride. He was brought down and humbled by God making him to acknowledge that He was nothing without God, the powers of the living God.
