In the Old Testament the sacrificial system was a shadow of the good things to come, the righteous things. Once a sinner brought an animal for sacrifice, it was believed that God was going to forgive that fellow.
When we go before God, stand before his presence and repent all our sins then we receive the cleansing of our sins. He saved us from our sins according to the law of salvation, we should all believe in our hearts and understand that Christ remitted our sins away. We should believe this according to the sacrificial system of the tabernacle, He was the last sacrificial lamb who took away our sins. He is our advocate.Hebrew 10:1 the law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.
