    Default Baptism

The word baptism means to be immersed under water and bury one’s sinful life. When there is a sin there is a sentence and the guilty party accepts the sentence and has to die for his sinful nature. The spiritual meaning of the word baptism is the passing away of sins. When Christ died on the cross he took upon all our sins he fulfilled the righteous will of God.

John3:5, Jesus answered, Very truly I tell you, and no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.
It is because Jesus Christ had accepted our sins by being baptized that through Him we are able to see the kingdom of God.

John 1:29, the next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
He carried our sins to the cross and saved us from death, He shed his blood in our place. Our baptism should have witnesses; the devil should see this and the entire world need to know that you are a creature in Christ. John the Baptist bored Christ witness; we also need to bored witness by God.

Water is literally a cleanser. Baptism to a Christian means that like Jesus one has died and buried the sinful nature in water, been washed clean and rises from the water as a new being. This is where we say that the old is gone and a new creature s brought forth. Jesus said that we should do that and that it is essential for us to undergo it for us to see and enter the kingdom of heaven. Unsanctified bodies or hearts will never dwell in a holy place with holy ones. One must be born of water and spirit.
