    Default How To Give Testimony

    Testimony is an articulating story of how God has helped you to lead a more sanctified life. This may include how you became a Christian, why you attend church where as before you didn’t or how you received a blessing or a healing.

    The reason of giving a testimony is either to glorify Christ or giving thanks to His wonders. As the bible says from 1st Peter 3:15;

    "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have."
    As a Christian you ought to pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you in your presentation and your speech to be short and take not more than 5minutes.

    Name the Savior in the course of the testimony and tell about the changes in your life as a result of becoming a Christian.

    What if somebody comes up with a creative story of his own and testify to other Christians, would not all believe it to be a true testimony. Then true testimony giving has no tips on how to go about it, but should be something inner and God given. Witnessing God himself I think should not be timed as it depends on the much God has done to you.

    If someone comes up with his/her own story as a testimony, then who do you think that person is lying to? Is it not God? The guiltiness is in him or her and truly there is a punishment from God to him/her for doing that.

    I am on the same page that,

    Default The Results Of Witnessing

    In witnessing we don’t see the results of it immediately and so we easily become discouraged. But when we give ourselves completely to God, in our work and follow His directions; He will be responsible to the results. We need to co-operate with Him.

    In times of suffering and difficulty should lead Christians to give themselves wholly to God’s service, worldly attractions will be there to draw our attention from the savior but we must move on toward the goal.

    What failure do we have when we are witnessing and why?
