For the Hour of His Judgment Has Come

REVELATION 14:7

Fear God and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come; and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the fountains of water.

REVELATION 20:11, 12

Then I saw a great white throne and him who sat upon it; from his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the deaths were judged by what was written in the books, by what they had done.

1 PETER 4:17, 18

For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, where will the impious and sinners appear?

When the books of record are opened in the judgment, the names of all who have believed in Jesus come in review before God and his judgment will begin; from those who lived first upon the earth, our advocates presenting the cases of the successive generations and lastly, close with the living.


Every name will be called, and every case closely investigated, where will you be and how prepared to face judgment?

Yes there will be judgment and the Judge will be God. We will hear our accusations read to us however, we won't be having witnesses and advocates to defend us. No shortcut to get our names listed. Since this is the scenario we better do what is supposed to be done in order to get our names listed in the book of life. It will be embarrassing when all the accusations are read to you and be told "I am sorry you belong to the book of death and Satan is there to welcome you."

But if you believe right now and receive Jesus as your savior and Lord then assuredly He will stand for your case on that day. If you choose to walk in His path through and through.

This is the day most of us tremble on its mention but what are doing to ensure that we are safe and blameless? The only thing we can cling to for life is to get the truth which is in the bible, do as per the decrees of God and try to multiply God's lot. Remember we are sent out to evangelise. The hour of answerableness to our deeds has come and we therefore need to be ready to take charge. Who is ready to Hades? I'm sure none, all want heaven but for their filthy deeds. God will have no mercy on people who loved Him not.

The good news with this is that to those who have received Christ as their personal savior, they won't stand before the judgement throne of God. I appeal to all of us to repent our sins and allow Christ into our lives to be Lord and personal savior in order to evade the wrath of God upon us. Woe unto to those who harken their hearts, those who don't want to turn away from their wicked ways for they have brought upon themselves the wrath of God. The judgement day is going to be the longest day we will ever witness, people will be trembling at the mentioning of their verdicts.

There is still this period of grace that our father has given us and we should confess and repent our sins. The hour of judgment is near and we should be ready because he will judge everyone according to his deeds.
