Default Things Aren’t Always What They Seem

Many of us have had personal disappointments that we later recognize were acts of grace. But in the midst of difficult circumstances, it feels impossible that God could transform something bad into something good.

Paul was in prison; his enemies were making his life even harder. Yet Paul was able to rejoice because he knew that a sovereign God is using these circumstances to spread the gospel. Paul also trusted that God will use those same circumstances to deliver him.

What gave Paul such confidence? Jesus Christ. On the cross, Jesus looked like a total failure. Yet what seemed like utter defeat was the means by which God purchased our redemption. If God can redeem even the cross, what can keep him from redeeming the circumstances of your life?

God is working through your circumstances to accomplish something greater than you can imagine.

Recall a time when God transformed your failure or disappointment into something good.

For everything happening there is always a reason. This reminds me the story of Joseph in the Bible, His brothers were jealous of Him and so they sold Him. Later on we see how he turned to help them after being made a governor. He also saved Egypt from seven years of famine.

That why the bible keeps telling us to rejoice and again it says rejoice. We rejoice because the bible says that all things happen together for good.

Paul is one of those who have a great testimony, a testimony that we read even now in the holy books. What God turned him from was even more than the situation he was in then. He had a great transformation; from a persecutor and killer to a preacher/apostle within a twinkle of an eye. He had total faith and trust in the lord for he knew what God could do no man can.

God has His own plans as to why certain things have to happen the way they do happen. A t times accidents do occur for a reason and all things works for better for those who believe in God, one’s faith measures it all.
