    Christian Hope, the Power Within

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
Today let us look at one of the three, namely hope and to be more specific “Christian hope” Before we do that let us look at the definition of hope.

Hope is defined as: "a searching for something good to happen; believing that what is wanted will become reality."

Due to our human nature most of us find ourselves hoping and dreaming for the good things to happen in our lifetime. Some of the things be hope for include as “to go to heaven, to be healed, land a good paying job or have more money, just to mention a few.

Now wishing for such things is the easy part. The hard part though is:

    1. Are you able to actually envision the results you want in your mind so much so that they seem so real, they are palpable?

    2. What do you use to base that hope?

    3. Do you become genuinely excited

In real life, a lot of things do happen. Whatever happens in life, good or bad, the Bible teaches that we as christens should be ready to remain steadfast as to give glory to our Almighty God. When all things seem to be going downhill or uphill we must always hope that everything will eventually work out for the best. For the Bible says in the book of Romans 8:28 that:

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose.
    How comforting is that!

When you get to know how to live a life full of Christian faith Christian hope by being vigilant and patient with the Lord, you start to see tiny breakthroughs that are yours alone, and can never be stolen from you.

It’s for that reason that true Christians must develop the virtue of patience and rely on hope and faith to get through life's most difficult hurdles. As your patience develops, so will the enlightenment you seek, giving you experiences that are only yours. Even if it is only a tiny miracle, it will give you renewed Christian hope that the next time something even greater could happen.

It’s though patience that Christians grow their character. It’s how the old you is shed and the new you is born! It is not easy, you may be broken emotionally, physically, made ill, depressed, or sick, but when it is all over, you will get something glorious. It might be that you learn more about how to be wise, and avoid making the same mistakes you made on the past. It could be anything, but it will fill you with great inner strength and peace that will allow you to stand up to anything the world can throw at you. Holding firm to Christian hope and Christian faith will also result in you knowing a great deal more about who you truly are as a child of God.

Remember that our savior, Jesus Christ, took human form and had to endure the torment and agony of the cross for us, and also had to go through all of the things we as humans do every day. He made it through, and is now sitting on the right hand side of our heavenly father, waiting for you! You are blessed with the exact same Holy Spirit in you, when Jesus is your Lord and savior. You are never alone. It’s thorough Christian hope that we all have the strength inside to overcome. You simply have to believe in yourself and trust in God, Amen

Default A Balanced Diet Psalm 104:14-18

In the Bible wine is a picture of the Holy Spirit. At Pentecost, when the people of God were rejoicing and worshiping and praising the Lord, the crowd said, they were full of new wine.
"Be not drunk with wine, but be filled with the Spirit" (Eph. 5:18).
Oil also is a picture of the Holy Spirit, who makes the face to shine. Moses had a shining face because he fellowshipped with God. Stephen had a shining face because he gave his life for God. Jesus had a shining face on the Mount of Transfiguration.

Bread is a picture of the Word of God. It strengthens the heart.
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God" (Luke 4:4).
God wants to give us gladness; He wants to give us radiance; and He wants to give us strength. The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to make the child of God more like Jesus.

Default God Leave Us With Hope

God did not leave us without hope but we have been given great hope through Jesus Christ, where he wants us to return to what we would have been before the fall of man.

The plan of salvation is the process to bring us to that state. The Holy Spirit is working for us to restore us to what has lost through sin. God is working on us for a new existence that has been made available to us through Jesus.
