Default Live For the Devil No More

How can you gauge your life if someone asked you whom you live for? Have you ever tried to evaluate the kind of life you lead in your Christian belief?

Well, I bet many of us think we live right while we are total slaves of darkness. Drinking, fornication, gossiping, hatred, greed, selfishness, unbelief in Christ and coveting are some of the things we practise each day, yet we claim to know and follow Christ’s ways.

Christ never sinned and because He came to live an example for all human beings, we therefore need to follow His steps. We should do right whenever and wherever. Our desires will only lead us into Hades, unless we opt to live the better way. Only one road leads to heaven and for us to reach there we should be humbled and do what it takes a righteous man to be regarded as so.

In the bible, we read a quote that says: 'a way seems right for a man but in the end is peril'. Lusts of the flesh and the desires of our eyes will yield no life. The will of God must prevail in our lives. Satan feels great when he realizes that we are unto him while on the other hand Jesus weeps for our wicked hearts and still calls tenderly upon us to go back to Him. The humble will gain life and otherwise will perish.

    1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
This is the soft voice of Jesus. We have very many Saul-to-Pauls today, who once lived a miserable life in darkness, slaves of sin, but when the light of God shone on them they quitted their past and now live with a great testimony for Jesus. They are great evangelizers of the gospel after testing the waters in Jesus.

Life in sin is only a misery for you struggle into achieving what will just but yield you death. It might be that the wicked acts of some Christians put you aback but remember in the judgement dock you will stand alone. It is high time we confessed the power of the blood of Jesus which heals broken hearts and delivers strayed sheep, who have set their eyes towards heaven and are determined to reach there.

You are not so difficult for God to transform remember, but He has allowed you to come to your senses and realize His love and power to give you the best you need in life. Come out of your ignorance and hearken to the voice of the Lord from the wilderness. Prepare your heart for He stands at the door waiting to be given a go ahead into your life. The journey may seem hard to travel but the reward ahead is great.
