The Lost Son

At times we go astray, we turn away from God. We feel like we can do on our own, like we can do without God but when things get a little bit difficult for us we again turn to Him. But what does He do?

Luke 15:20, so he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

Romans 8:38-39, for I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither, height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

He puts His arms around us and welcomes us back home, He yearns for the time He will put His arms around us and call us His children. The only thing He wants from us is obedience to His commandments.We should learn to repent whenever we go against the will of God, God is merciful and will always forgive us. We should also learn to do what pleases Him all the time.

We belong to God, sinners or righteous. It is just that our sins make us run short of the grace and blessings of God. He claims our souls for He bought them at a price. Through His only son, the lost son was delivered. Our hope is revived through Jesus Christ who is our Lord and saviour.

This is just saying that whatever sins er have done against God as long as we ask for forgiveness and back to to the presence of God He is always willing to receive and accept us.

He will always be there for us no matter what we do. He loves us unconditionally and he is ready to forgive us. Even after committing sin, he will be ready to welcome us back to his embrace. It is Agape love he has got for us and one thing is for sure; he will never abandon us. Unless of course we deny him and decide to be agents of the devil; God will always be there for us.

God loves all people; both sinners and righteous! He never chooses one side and leaves the other hanging; he will always seek us and find us among the crowd when we seem to lose balance from His sight! Just as the lost son, we have to learn that God is with us always and no matter what we do, we have to repent and come back to Him but not run from Him for the reason that we fear approaching Him due to our bad deeds. He accepts whoever comes to Him and will feast with them since all belongs to Him!
