Grant us God that while our bodies rest from the labors of the day and our souls released from the taughts of this world, may we stand in thy peace, with tranquility and quietness in this hour.

With your mercies grant us to see a new day, as in each day we look forward to your restoration of a new heaven in our hearts, make us offer you ceaseless thanksgiving without getting tired.

Unto thee we offer praise and thanksgiving, now unto ages and ages.

It is good for us Christians to offer prayers before we retire to bed by thanking our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ His dear Son for Him to keep us all the night from harm and danger. We have to commend ourselves, our bodies and soul and all things and ask Him to let His Angels be with us that the Wicked Foe may have no power over us.
