Daniel was chosen to be a prime minister by king Darius because he had much confidence in him but other people were jealous and wanted to kill him. Danielís heart became heavy with a deeper concern; for what would happen to his people?
There would be an evil power that would attack Godís people and to destroy the sanctuary before God would establish His kingdom. He hoped that the temple and Jerusalem was going to be built but he was disappointed after the vision.
