    Default Daniel’s Heart Became Heavy

Daniel was chosen to be a prime minister by king Darius because he had much confidence in him but other people were jealous and wanted to kill him. Daniel’s heart became heavy with a deeper concern; for what would happen to his people?

There would be an evil power that would attack God’s people and to destroy the sanctuary before God would establish His kingdom. He hoped that the temple and Jerusalem was going to be built but he was disappointed after the vision.

He went to his room and started praying three times a day while opens a scroll to the prophecy of Jeremiah. Daniel was praying what God had already promised and was worrying about the future of his people that God had also decided for them.

Should we pray for something God had promised and worry about the future?

We should always copy heroes’ examples; we should worry for the future because our worries won’t change anything, so better be praying that what God promised come true. Prayers are a strong shield to stand against enemies and in prayers all is possible.

God’s faithfulness is the same today, tomorrow and forever. As he has helped others, so also will He do now for us. His love has no bounds and his mercies are new every day. Though the times change and we change, God is with us in every single aspect of our lives. We should copy the role model of Daniel with His strong faith in God!
