Default All religions are the same.

I think that all religions finally teach the same idea.A person who understands this can be termed as really an educated human.The same values are being taught in different religions in different ways.

I think religion itself is a set of beliefs. There are different religions because not everyone chooses to believe in the same things. Religion as a concept is the same, religions are different.

Bear in mind that religion is one thing, Christianity is another just as Islam is something else.

According to the

, the term religion is defined as:

Quote:
A religion is a set of tenets and practices, often centered upon specific supernatural and moral claims about reality, the cosmos, and human nature, and often codified as prayer, ritual, or religious law.

Religion also encompasses ancestral or cultural traditions, writings, history, and mythology, as well as personal faith and religious experience. The term "religion" refers to both the personal practices related to communal faith and to group rituals and communication stemming from shared conviction.
Now that is a very wide definition and I can tell you that clearly from this definition then I can safely claim that the term "religion" therefore refers to different religious groups (in other words that there are many religions) teaching different beliefs (there are hundreds of beliefs)

That is why you should not belief in religion or base your faith in any religious groups (I know someone is ready to persecute me for saying that) other than the word of God.

The word of God in the book of Ephesians Chapter 4 Verse 5 says that:

Quote:
There is one body and one Spirit - just as you were called to one hope when you were called

One Lord, one faith, one baptism;

One God and father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Unfortunately what has happened is that in the course of this journey so much has been corrupted. But fear not, the good news is that soon and very soon our Lord is coming again.

Yeah it is true that the base of all religion is same. But people are changing their own religion day by day that's why it is going to be separated all religious matter. if they keep the simple rule of god then it would not happen.

I wish there would come one day when religions would be synonymous with faith. At the end of the day, faith is all that we seek for reassurance.
