| I have been born and raised a Roman Catholic but have come a point in my life that I believe there is no god at all? |
Every time I hear people ask "
Is there God, and if so does he exist" I always remember this verse from the Bible: Joshua 24:15 and it reads:
Quote:
"But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fore-fathers served beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites, in whose lands you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."

If you read this verse, this is the story of Joshua as it nears it's end. And as you can see very clearly the Lord gives us a choice. We can choose to serve him or any other god's we prefer.
But remember each choice we make has a consequence now or in the future.

You decide but be careful also on how and what you teach your children because the way you bring up a child is mostly likely going to reflect how they live their live when they become adults. For the Bible says in Proverbs 22:6
Quote:
|
Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
