We need smart people and being smart of course starts from the physical appearance of someone. Apart from bathing, neat attire and make-up, there are other areas of hygiene one should take account into to look presentable.

Yes different people have different preferences but some things need to be based on what trend and grooming is all about. For instance, hair is very important to our bodies. As much as hairs may keep one warm maybe during the cold seasons, or for women simply chic, some hairs just need to be cleared off.

Long hairs for men make them look untidy. Someone may want to tame a long beard as that of Osama, and that is cool to him but to people he will be regarded gangster. As far as men will want to have a beard, keeping it reasonably short and well shaved will make one look careful and neat. Women hate long beards, especially the dirty and unkempt ones. Even some ladies love guys with sideburns for they think it’s stylish! Yeah, maybe I am one of them because I as well have them.

At times it seems unromantic when you kiss your man and you find yourself liking the beards! How dreadful surely. After all, men look smarter in short, well trimmed and kempt hair. If it should grow longer than one centimetre then it should be washed daily and combed. Some men walk around with hairs full of blankets.

Body hairs and romantic relationships have something in line; smelly people will have no close company unless some caring person approached and told them the truth towards changing for the better. Such smell may be as a result of unshaved armpits, which trigger sweat, or unwashed head hair. We have deodorants which suppress sweat smell. This will make your partner be free to get closer to you at any time. Long hairs in the armpits otherwise irritate for they reflect insanity.

As much as men will never want to see their girlfriends look like a 10-year-old ‘down there’, ladies and even men should at least shave their private parts though not to the point of baldness. That’s funny! But then it is factual that letting the hair grow too long may kill your partner’s appetite for sex.

For the arms and legs, this may be reserved for men but for ladies letting your legs and arms be hairy is a big no! We have hair remover brands in the shops like All-clear, Veet and the like which apart from the beards and armpits can also be used externally to clear off the hairs, but be cautioned against using them on your sexual organs. How can your skin be differentiated with your man’s if both of you have hairs? He will want to massage your smooth arms while you play with his hairs.


Men as well love ladies’ hair, especially when it is neat and natural. They like to play with it with adoration. Though some like short hair, they may have encouraged it if maintenance was poor but then all I know is that men love women with well groomed hair, period. Let romance be romance and look stylish always!

It is hygienic to keep our bodies clean, the way we look talks more about who we are and so we should look clean and neat all the time. Keeping our private hairs short and neat will keep us from bad body smell and besides we always feel comfortable when we look good and health.
