Is Polygamy Life Child Abuse?

It’s hard to explain the virtual self-satisfaction or good sense that originally greeted this extraordinary abuse of power, with the exception of the reference to religious narrow-mindedness about polygamy.

Some people say that polygamy encourages child abuse. This is for the reason that older men are involved in the marriage to juvenile girls. Assuming for the sake of argument that this is true, it still doesn’t justify clear-cut prohibitions on polygamy.

Indeed, opposition to gay marriage still relies on false arguments about the harm it poses to children. The majority can also compare polygamy to human sacrifice. I fail to fathom! But who are those with the clear meaning?

How do you take polygamy in today’s life? What about those who still practice it?

I think that polygamy could be a good thing provided that all parties to the equation are responsible and ethical. That means that parents must provide for the emotional, economic, educational support of their children and of each other.
