Potatoes: The cold temperatures in your fridge will actually turn potatoes' starch into sugars, giving it a sweet flavor when you cook them. These can be stored at room temperature. Honey: A lot of people put honey in the fridge, but this will thicken it up something fierce, and it doesn't require refrigeration to stay good. Unless you really like your honey cold, you can put this in the pantry. Bananas: Most people store these outside of the fridge, which is fine. If you put them in the fridge, they'll turn black, but the insides will still be fine.
Many of the foods that one will or will not refrigerate depend on where on what one grew up with but mostly, foods including potatoes need not to be refrigerated following that their starch will be turned to sugars thus giving them a sweet flavor that is bad when cooked. This with tomatoes cannot be stored in a refrigerator following that they get mushy and gross.

Fresh food stuffs as fruits and vegetables are perishable. That means if you want them to stay long enough to stock run-out you have to preserve them. However, if they stay for too long in the fridge they may denature and lose the nutrients they primarily had. There foods already preserved and are known to expire after a specified period of time, for instance bread. It is pointless to refrigerate bread yet it is said to expire after two days.

some foods that are not refrigerated have got food preservatives that prevent them from perishing that easily. Some kind of foods can stay without going bad for along time under room temperatures better still they can preserved the traditional ways although it may seem a little bit old school.
