Default when dining out? are you a good tipper?

when you go to a restaurant, do you tip well? or do you tip based on the service you receive? i always tip based on the service i get, and i do not "tip" the same for bad service. if i get bad service, i feel that that the tip should reflect it...

Wink Tipping

For me it depends with everything I receive from the time I step in to the last minute. If in any case I realize that a waiter is trying to serve all this table and keep mixing drinks and order from different tables. Such a waiter definitely gets no tip.

There are rare chances where the waiters messup with the orders, usually they give us the best of service. I am a good tipper, I love when I am served with all style and I make it sure that I give the waiter much awaited tip.

I always consider the service, the food, the cleanliness and the ambiance. Put all those together and if it's relatively okay, I will leave a tip behind. BUT, keep me waiting for my food until my eyes are crossed from hunger, or pull out my plate without asking, and I will put you to task, no matter how classy your place is.

If the food, service and ambience are decent, I'd tip extravagantly. I think it is a good habit to do so. I get really irritated when my company is a miser at tipping
