Default Private Schools

Anyone go to a private school? I heard you actually don't learn more in a private school then a public school.

Actually I think it is the other way round, the part of region I come from, most if not all the public schools tend to be cheaper when compared to private schools.

This in turn result to more students in public schools as compared to private schools which in turn leads to over stretching on the available resources which in turn results to a strain on the level of quality education offered.

Of course this does not mean that all private schools are better than public schools or that all private schools are expensive than public, I don't know what others think!

I studied elementary in a public school but i had my high school and college in a private school. i really think that both can give you good education. the only difference is that, public schools have fewer facilities than private schools. maybe payments for teachers are not he same but it doesn't matter whether a teacher teaches in a private or public school because some teachers in private schools don't do their jobs well even if they are being given good benefits and salary.

Slight difference is there, that is due to the limited funds in the public schools. If the staff is not paid well, they will not be able to give their 100% to the students. Here the students lag behind. Then exceptions are always there, some students shine where ever they may go even if they are from public schools.

Sometimes it depends on the country you came from, Here in the Philippines you can really see the difference of students studying from a private school to a public school. Due to financial matters most parents would choose to let there child study at a public school. It's really sad that our Government lacks projects on enriching public school education and lowering school bills/payment, even though they have projects it's still not enough to suffice all those that are in need. But still you can see some excellent students in both public and private schools. It will also depend on the Student itself, even if your studying at a public or a private school without taking it serious it's quiet useless.

I do not think it matters if you go to a private or public school. It depends on the person what he makes of his life. Maybe you are more advanced in your education when you go to a private school, but when you start working it will not matter because it is what your output in your job that matters now.

I agree with Calvindale. Actually, if public schools here in the Philippines were given the necessary support so that children will be provided with the necessary equipment and materials to further improve learning, many students in the public school system will be able to match those studying in private schools. You just have to look at the many scholars who qualify to receive subsidy and support and are products of the public school system. It is only a matter of funding and opportunities that makes a difference in the products of public and private school graduates.

It depends on the location of the public schools too. I've heard some are way better than the best private schools. In fact, even the property costs are high at places in the vicinity of these good public schools.

Some public schools provide quality education as good as private schools. However, there are also some private schools that do not provide quality teaching. It is a shame for these so called private schools to be charging parents money for nothing.

According to what I know private school offer better education than public schools. The only problem is they are spoon fed with the information. Since private schools are quite expensive compared to public school so few can afford it and thus the classes have very students giving teachers more time to concentrate with students personally. But I believe at the end of the day it is your hard work that gets you where you desire.
