Default What The Bible Teaches about God’s Judgment

God has always existed as a judge over his creation. But we need to understand how he judges, when he judges, and why he judges, having solutions to this questions helps us to understand the kind of judgment described in the Bible.
When God decided to punish Sodom and Gomorrah for their sins, Abraham recognized that God is the judge of men’s actions, Genesis 18:20-25.

We should learn that God, passes judgment, He issues a verdict, and then carries out the sentences, but we can escape either of this steps, if we seek forgiveness.

    Psalms 75:7

But it is God who executes judgment putting down one and lifting up another.

Nebuchadnezzar came to understand this as he comments in the book of Daniel.

    Daniel 4:37

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar ,praise and extol and honor the king of heaven; for all his works are right and all his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.

Default Worship in Judgment Isaiah 24:14

A typical view of worship is much narrower than what is found in the Bible. It may be that you conceive of worship as a Sunday morning service, something to attend once a week at most. Perhaps your view is a bit wider, recognizing not only corporate but also personal times of worship, such as daily devotions. Some people consider worship as being a response to something good: God does something good so we praise Him.

When we look for worship in the Bible, our understanding is stretched. Now the prompting to worship is not a vision of God in heaven but the carrying out of His wrath on earth. We typically do not think of God's judgment as a call to praise, but it is.

In His judgment, God declares His majesty and righteousness. He is the rightful Ruler of all creation. One day He will declare His majesty, putting down all rebellion, displacing all rulers. Also, the wickedness of the world will be brought to an end as God establishes His reign of righteousness.

Can God's judgment prompt you to worship?

It should. But it won't unless you see this world as God sees it, a place of sin deserving His judgment. It will when you see judgment as God setting all things right, demonstrating Himself to be the Sovereign of the universe.

God is the supreme Judge of all the earth and if He is unjust, there is no hope that justice will ever prevail. We know that human judges can be corrupted—they take bribes, they can be partial, they can be ignorant, and they can make mistakes. God, however, is never corrupt. No one can bribe Him. He refuses to show partiality. There is no respect of persons with Him. He never acts out of ignorance. He never makes mistakes. I call Him perfect for the reason that His worship His perfect!

Before we judge, the mind already weighs what is right and wrong as per the law of God. Ignorance is what leads to contra judgement, only to make one to regret later. God says vengeance is for Him for we have no dominion over ourselves, and so since he made us He should pass out. We may do judgement out of consent but when we realize and the mistake is already done we should atone before the Lord.

God created us all and he is in a better position to judge us, we are all human beings and therefore can't make the right judgements. Every judgement we may want to make should be left to God after all he created us and knows us better than we know ourselves, he is the only one who can see what we may not see.
