The Knowledge Of God

The Bible tells us that we are to grow in the knowledge and ways of God. And the number one way in which we will grow in the knowledge of God is by reading and studying from the Bible. There is no other way! If you do not seek to learn more about the Lord by studying from the Bible, then your spiritual growth in the Lord will stagnate and you will stop growing in Him.

There are no shortcuts to true spiritual growth in the Lord. You have to pay your dues, and those dues are that you have to gain and increase in knowledge about God and all of His ways before the Holy Spirit will start you on the road to true spiritual growth.

The only Book that will give you the knowledge that will cause true spiritual growth to occur in this life is the Bible. Once you have become saved and born again by accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior – you now have one of two choices to make.

You can either choose to press in and start seeking after God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit by spending regular quality time in the Bible to learn as much as you can about the Three of Them – or you can just leave well enough alone, figure you have as much of God as you will ever need in this life, and go on your merry way living for the world and the things of this world – never increasing your knowledge base about the Lord, and never really growing in the knowledge of God and all of His ways.

I was surprised when I read that the foolishness of men is the knowledge of God. no one is at a position of challenging the knowledge of God and that is exactly what we should seek.

With today's world, you can learn His knowledge fro the comfort of your home. You can attend a sermon via a your TV or read the bible online.

All these developments have been done so as we can be able learn and know more about our creator, therefore let each and everyone of us utilize them fully for us to secure a place in the mansions prepared for us by Jesus Christ.
