How Is God Like?

When I pray, worship or praise God wherever, there is one thing that come into my mind that God is huge, cute, polite and of all I see Him as bright that even recognizing His face seems hard; until now when that comes in mind, it makes me fear Him and yearn to see Him.

I know the majorities are also in the same pool of queries; It doesn’t mean only prophets or anyone who sees visions can tell this how He is; Anybody can have that imaginations; do you think you can tell how God looks like?

I have never found any verse in the Bible which describes his appearance, color of skin, height etc. What we only know from the Bible are His characteristics. The Bible however states that whoever sees His face will die.

Exodus 33:20 But’, he said, ‘you cannot see my face; for no one shall see me and live.’

I cannot tell how He looks like and I’m convinced nobody can tell His appearance. From his manifestation to the Israelites, we only learn of His traits and never are we told of his appearance.

Lets us strive hard to inherit His Kingdom so as by faith we may get to see Him.

Sometimes I find it funny when I'm praying and then a thought flashes in me as to whom I’m addressing. I try to imagine the way he looks like and I am left without an answer. I just find myself talking to myself again! No one has ever seen God and no one can as well endure His presence even until the last day when we shall be counted righteous in His kingdom that we shall see Him.
