Default Cold Water?

You see, my gym instructor once told me not to drink cold water if you want to flatten your stomach. Instead it would just make your tummy bigger. That's what he said. I just want to ask if that is really true?

I have heard of two different theories in this regard one is that have cold water, body burns more calories to heat that water up and bringing it to the required temperature. The second theory goes like this that have normal or luke warm water it helps to have slimmer body as it helps the fats in our body to remain in fluid form and it easier to flush fluid fats out of our body.I go with the second theory and is quite beneficial.

Mmm...sometimes we really get bogged down on unnecessary details that end up making our life's so miserable and not a fun thing at all...why because we are constantly worried about this and that, the calories amount, the fat level, the salt level and the list go on and on.

Me, my approach to life is different. I know in anything you do - too much of it is bad and too little is not good.

So for instance like the water issue, I know cold water is okay to drink. Too cold might be undrinkable and so is too hot water.

Is there any truth to this cold water theory that is supposed to make you fat? I drink cold water everyday all the time because I live in a tropical climate where it is very hot. I like drinking ice cold water when I wake up, I like cold water even in the middle of the night, etc. No wonder I am still fat.

Water, whether it is hot or cold, has no calories so it can not make you fat. However, if you drink a large amount of water in one sitting as some people do when they are very thirsty, your stomach will be temporarily distended. This might make you think the drinking cold water makes you fat.

That was probably a joke I don't see anybody drinking warm water when the heat is at around 87degrees during summer. I think it all depends where you live
