The words of Christ before his Death Christ’s words in that evening before death about impending departure greatly troubled his disciples immediately he assured them that he will send the Holy Spirit as his personal representative. They would not be left as orphans John 14:18.
The New Testament reveals the Holy Spirit in a unique way. Galatians 4:6 “Spirit of his son.” while in Romans 8:9. Says, “Spirit of God.”
Please may you help me to know who originated the Holy Spirit’s mission is it Jesus or God?

The Holy Spirit was initiated originally by God, but in connection with the divinities they were inclusive of God’s spirit, for Jesus he always prayed to God always during his mission for the Holy Spirit to keep him strong. Meaning even Jesus depended on God’s spirit.
God is three in one: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, which make one God. Jesus Himself was God and the Holy Spirit as well is God. God doesn't want us to remain alone. He was with us and when we became sinners He set the second party in His office who is Jesus to die and save mankind, then after Jesus finishing His mission on earth He paved way for the Holy Spirit to come and bring the mission into completion.

There is God the father, the son and the Holy Spirit, they all work together. God the father created, the son came to save and the Holy Spirit serves as the helper. In my own opinion l would say the spirit dwells in the father that is why the son always prayed to the father to send His Holy Spirit to come and guide Him on what to be done.
