Acts Chapter 2:1-4

When the day of Pentecost came they were altogether in one place.

And suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind and filled the entire house where they were sitting.

And there appeared to them tongues as fire, distributed and resting each one of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the spirit gave them utterance.


This was a fulfillment of a promise Christ had left his disciples that he would send them a comforter.

Should Christians expect fulfillment of promises from God and even from other Christians?

There was the fulfillment in the day of Pentecost whoever asks for him in prayer will be given. There is that conscience which God has given everyone of us that inspires to our minds what is right and what is wrong. When a person decide to hear and believe in Jesus Christ and repent his sins then, he will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit who will dwell in his heart.

In whichever way they come, blessings are blessings. God can use other people to bless us and therefore we need not turndown such grants. He is a promising God and answers prayers in different ways.
