Default How to make a baby bib?

Does anyone know how to make a baby bib? There are lots of babies being born in my neighborhood and I would like to make matching bibs and burp cloths. I can make the burp cloths, but not the bibs. Help!!

Why not buy a baby bib and take it apart so you can inspect the way it was done. That way, you get also the pattern you need to cut out the pieces. That is the easiest way I can think of.

Go to the markets and get a softer baby cloth, seek one who can sew them for you as you watch, so that next time you come up with yours.

It is not impossible because I think you have not tried it, just try and I hope you will emerge the best. go and even train on the same, it’s good that you are concerned and hence you are interested. So I think if you go train it will be better.

ok, so first you need an old onesie (doesn't have to be a onesie but I'm willing to bet you have a few at home you are ready to get rid of ) and a bib that you can use for a template, and a some batting big enough for a bib. You can use remnant pcs and sew them together as well.

Cut the onesie at the seams so you have the back and front as two pcs.

(don't have a photo of this part, but) take the bib that you want to use as a template and trace around it on the on of the two cut pcs. Use a big ole fat permanent marker if you want. doesnt matter. sandwich the batting with the two cut pcs and zigzag around the marker lines that you made. best to use tight zigzags. You can straight stitch around it first if you want, but not necessary.
