Default Who is the Son of God?

If most of us were asked who Jesus was, most of our answers would be; He was the Son of God who did great things and died for our sins. Coming to look at it Jesus came from a very simple background.

He was not great because of His wealth, nor was He a political leader but He had power from God which enabled Him to perform miracles which left others amazed. Jesus said Himself that He came for the lost hence he died on the cross for me and you to be found.

We often judge people by the way they look, dress, and talk and even walk. Unlike Jesus, He looks at the heart. For instance, let’s look at the people Jesus associated with; sinners of all sorts, those who were disgusted by the society.

He came to show us how much we are valued no matter how our status is. Jesus was a man who loved all even the soldiers who came to arrest Him. That also applies to us. Whether sinners or not, Jesus loves us. It does not matter how much you have sunk into sin, it does not matter how red your sins but He will wash them to be as white as snow if only you surrender your life as a living sacrifice to Him.

Jesus values your life more than anything else. That is why he died on the cross for our sins. That only shows how much He cares for us. Let us give ourselves to Christ and ask Him to use us the way He wants. Remember our bodies are His temple.

In the Bible, Jesus is often called the Son of God, which means that He is God made manifest in human form (John 1:1, 14). Jesus is the Son of God because He was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35), who is God. In Jesus' time, the phrase son of man was used to signify a human being. In relation to that, Jesus being the Son of God means that Jesus is God.

Jesus possesses the same attributes as God and both are honored equally. John 5:21-23 says, "For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him."

Both the Father and the Son perform the same works. John 5:24-27 confirm this: "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man."

Of course, Jesus Christ, and whoever does the will of God.

The bible says that as many as called His name he gave them the power and the right to be called sons of God. This verse explains itself that all who will remain in Him will receive the same power. This means that me and you will or are the sons of God considering the stand you have in Him. If believe in Him you are immediately given the same power.

Jesus came from God but was born of a woman, just like any other child. He came as a revelation to us when we were in darkness, and exposed us to the marvellous light of God. He was crucified and though Him we had redemption and atonement. Jesus is the son of God and whoever believes in Him has life. He who denies Him before men, that shall He deny before His Father, God. He is the Lamb of God.

He lived humbly though He was God. We should follow His steps and lead a holy life.

Jesus is the son of God even though he was born like any ordinary child. The bible refers to him as the prince of peace and the bible also says clearly that those who advocate for peace will be called the sons of God Mathew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God

All those who do the will of god and those who walk in the will of God also qualify to be called the sons and daughters of God.It is up to us to submit full to his will and do that which is pleasing before him so that we may become his children.

I am with you on this. We should never be in doubt that Jesus is the son of God. Doubt is what will consume us, for doubt is considered sin.
