Default Jesus’ Warnings On The Coming Judgment

Jesus frequently talked about a time when everyone will be judged. At one time when he was talking to Jews who wanted to find some reason to put him to death, he talked of the coming judgment.

Jesus often described the actions of a person's character as their fruit. He indicated that good trees produce good fruit while bad trees produce bad fruit.

This is what happens to us without considering that our character and personality are illustrated by what we do. Our thoughts eventually cause our actions. Good thoughts produce helpful actions and uplifting words. Evil thoughts produce harmful actions and degrading words.

It is easy to think that nobody is looking when you cheat someone or steal something. When you get angry, it's easy to say something nasty about someone. In your anger you may even strike out at them and hurt them.

And it's easy to think that nobody really notices what you do or say. But, God does. The character we develop determines our actions. Though, we want to be seen as good people, if we have wicked thoughts, those thoughts will creep out in our words and deeds. Jesus indicated that even our careless words indicate who we really are.

The coming judgment was His final words about the time when he would return to judge the nations. He indicated that he will separate the people based on how they acted in life. Those who will inherit eternal life are like "sheep". Those who will go into eternal punishment are like "goats".

Watch out what your life actions; which of the two sides “sheep and goats” would you like to be judged on?

It is true that gifts for best friends express friendship thoughts and emotions.

It quite simple Christ is coming to judge us, and unfortunately everyone is going to give an account of his/ deeds, so why do we judge others instead of judging ourselves first?

It is such a significant reminder to us that we beware of all our actions and behavior following that character is like a pregnancy which one cannot hide for it eventually shows itself. God requires us to behave according to the direction we get from the gospel and is always aware of all our actions whether good or evil and so the need to at all cost fight hypocrisy and embark on living a fully Christian life so as to be among those to inherit the Eternal Kingdom.

However much we are urged to live righteous, we tend to think that there is still time. Jesus will come like a thief and may find you unprepared. As well, you may die by accidently you hadn’t repented earlier. We should be always alert on the second coming of Jesus and even if Jesus was not to return to take us to heaven, we should live according to the will of our maker and creator, so that we can reap eternal life. Obedience will let us walk at liberty and that is why we have laws and simple rules to guide us to righteousness.

Nobody is righteous not even one and all us will face the wrath of God, so why judge and yet you will be judged. The free will that was given to us means that will be judged everyone according to his own deeds, it will be harvesting time.
