Default Christ Not Only as an Example

Some might argue that Jesus at His first coming gave us a wonderful example on how to live, that’s true. Others might argue that at His first coming Jesus taught us how to love and serve people, it is also true.

Aren’t then, these examples enough? But us human beings are far too desperate for a mere example to help us understand. Sure, we not only need Christ as an example, but we need him even more as a savior.

Already He is my savior, how good was it to be if everyone just knew that? Think again and join this family.

We need to look at Christ more than an example to us but as our brother too for He suffered much for our own sake, to restore us to God thus the need to welcome Him in our lives so that He dwells in us and provide us with the strength and power to overcome every life challenges.

When we read from the book of 1 Peter, it tells us that Christ left an example for us to follow, especially when we suffer as he did:

But if when you do well and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps”

He was both a teacher and a saviour. Wherever He went He performed good works and that is what made Him known through nations, such that some rulers sought to kill Him for what He did. We are as well as ambassadors of Christ called to do the will of God for evil deeds are a disgrace in the eyes of the Lord. Let us chose to follow Him and we shall find it well with Him.

Christ is beyond everything! He is a redeemer and savior and a great role model of all human beings! Through His character trials, He showed love, mercy and concern for all people no matter how many challenges He went through! We also ought to follow His examples and do according to the Father's will in order for us to be accepted in the Kingdom where we could live forever without life challenges!
