International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor accused the Kenyan government on Sunday of campaigning to stop investigations into the post-election violence. He said that the Kenyan government had stopped cooperating with it after the six men suspected to have bore the greatest responsibility during the 2007 post election violence were named.

However, the Kenyan government responded quickly to the claims with the government spokesperson asking him to give evidence of who was interfering with the investigations and how.
