Default If this was your last year

If this was your last year to be alive what would you do different?

Days sure go by very quick, January seems to be the other day and before we know it, Christmas is here and December is gone. Another year gone by.

There are so many things we always plan to accomplish and very little ever get done. If this year was going to be your last year alive, what would you probably do different?

I would make sure my parents would live the life they worked for and i depleted them when i was growing with my school expenses and all that. I would also establish a family business that would at least leave me at peace knowing i gave all to my family and after accomplishing that i would travel the whole world with the people I love and enjoy their company most.

Well I will first secure my family's safety if they will be doing fine without me after a year. I'll do the things that I haven't done yet and have fun. Also I would go visit my cousins which I haven't seen for how many decades already.

I just saw the film The Bucket List and I like it. I will do the most fun things in the world. Particularly, all those dangerous or risky things I wouldn't do because I'm afraid. Like getting naked on the street!

I would try to complete certain things that I think need to be completed before I am gone from this world. I would cut down on working, because I can't earn enough anyway, and it would no longer be a priority.

If the scenario is, I knew that this is going to be my last year, first thing i should do is to repent and ask forgiveness to my friends and enemies..hehe....(basically more on spiritual thing). And if im done with it, of course i will spend my time with my love ones going fun together and so on...

Have you seen the movie Last Holiday with Queen Latifa? She is told by her doctor that she has only about something like two weeks left to live, so she decides to take all her life savings and blow them on one last vacation.

I haven't seen either of those two movies, but I'd like to catch them sometime.

I would also be thinking of my family and how I was going to distribute my possessions. In a day to day sense, I think I'd spend more time with close family and friends, although that would be strange in some relationships, knowing that our time together was specifically limited.

My husband's former teacher was in such a situation. He had cancer, and he knew he didn't have much time to live. He would not tell anyone though, to avoid the awkward feeling and to be able to spend time with people as if everything was fine. When we saw him last, we had no idea he was dying. We noticed that he had lost some weight, but that was it. And because we did not know, we had a great time visiting, talking about all kinds of things. I think I would do the same - I wouldn't tell people.
