Question What was your dream when you were young?

When I was ten years old I was sure I wanted to become a lawyer. I always dreamed in a nice red skirt suite, driving a red convertable car with my hair blowing in the wind with my cool looking shades. I always dreamed of having a boyfriend who was a lawyer and we would be working on the same case one as a defender while the other one being the prosecutor. Both of us being the best lawyers the debate always got heated.

But when i grew up i realized I wanted to be an independent business woman who would work at her own hours. So many out there had dreams that they changed pursuing them because of various reasons. What was the reason you forsake your dream?

My dream was stupid!

I wanted to become a tough ninja warrior, rescue a pretty princess from harm...marry her and then live in a lovely castle build on top of a mountain happily ever after.

Then over the years as I have matured and then been exposed to various external forces...my dream keeps getting refined and tuned to accustom to the external forces with the sole objective of becoming self independent with a deep desire of helping others along the way.

OH MY GOD!!!

Both of us have the same dream when we we're young! I really love the idea of Ninjas vanishing without a trace and could penetrate an entire army of an empire just to save their princess. I find it really cool to be a ninja and always asked my mom to buy me swords and stuffs and I would even make ninja stars out of my paper. Ha ha ha.

I'd much rather see a young boy dream about that than want to become a banker, LOL.

When I was a teenager, I wanted to be a musician. I fulfilled that dream to a significant extent, working full-time as musician for several years.

The business and work opportunities changed, so I changed my line of work but I still make music a part of my life and even my income from time to time.

You guys have some interesting dreams!

I dreamed to become a pilot. But now I am working as marketing executive in a SEO Company. My dream has been left as a dream only...

Perhaps you will have your own airplane someday.

My husband dreamed to be a pilot as well, and even though he had gotten all the education for it, it did not happen for him. I hope he can still do it sometime.

Geez when I was 11 my dad always tell me how good it is to be an Accountant. I was imagining myself going to college then being an Accountant after that. But during college things aren't that good as I've expected. He never mentioned about how tough it is to reach it. @_@ Not to mention a lot of mezmering terms to analyze. I ended up working online with no relevance to my course.

When I was seven years old I dreamed to become the model. I had thought that it is the real success to take part in the fashion shows. But subsequently I had decided to become the business woman because it's a real way to the social and the financial freedom.

My dream when I was young was always about beating my neighbor playmate. I was envy when he had many toys and I had none. Also he beats on all the games we play. That was my dream, today it's still a dream because he's now a successful accountant and I'm still nothing!
