Baraza Suspended

Following recommendations by the Judicial Service Commission, the Head of State, Mwai Kibaki has suspended Depute Chief Justice Nancy Baraza due to her action to a security guard at Village Market in Nairobi.

President Kibaiki is said to form a tribunal to investigate Baraza’s conduct for she pinched a security guard’s nose and threatened to shoot her.

The Judicial Service Commission demands in their recommendation that Nancy has to face suspension and a probe since she confronted Rebecca Kerubo at the shopping mail in Nairobi last month.

A good action! let her remain suspended until the matter is fully investigated and worked on.

That does not surprise me for I am sure she as well regrets of her nasty words and actions at her confrontation with the guard, Mrs. Moraa.

I also recommend the Judicial Service Commission, the Head of State, for suspending Depute Chief Justice Nancy Baraza.The way they are investigating her misconduct of pinching the security guard's nose and threatened to shoot her if she spoke out! If the legal action was not taken on her, I could have blamed the government and the judicial for underrating the lady.
