Oil Discovered in Turkana

A source has it that President Kibaki has announced the discovery of oil in Turkana.

During the release of these news, President Kibaki stated that the discovery was made by the UK-based firm Tullow.

According to President Kibaki’s report, the oil was discovered in Ngamia-1 well where the UKs are exploring.

He says that time is need to establish the commercial viability of the oil.

Much shall be said about this issue, but it the government's time to act positively to this to help change the Turkana part.

Great stuff to hear out but that doesn't mean developments starts now! May the government this time round show up great concern to suffering people in Turkana! I really hate it and wish it won't happen in our country Kenya! Many countries discovery very precious things like that and the government act negatively about the source. Poverty and every bit of problems remain same even when there is things to change that! Hope Turkana people finds their way out of hostility, famine and poverty and not remain the same.
