The nation has it that the Government Chief whip Jakoyo Midiwo did insist on the statement he had made over the plot to kill the PM Raila Odinga.
On arrival from his two-week trip abroad, Midiwo said that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Mr Keriako Tobiko was being insincere and arrogant in issuing a warrant of arrest against him.
Following the assassination claims by the Gem MP, Prof Sam Ongeri, Deputy PM Uhuru Kenyatta and the Eldoret North MP William Ruto were questioned over the plot to kill the PM following that they were mentioned by Mr Midiwo.
Professor Ongeri denied the allegations stating that they were outrageous and promise to file legal suit against Midiwo.
Midiwo is said to have challenged the DPP to prove the part of his statement was untrue hence the warrant of arrest. The Gem lawmaker said that he stood by his statement.
