    Default Basic Pay Hiked For Lowest Income Workers

    The nation has it that lowest paid workers basic pay will be creased by 1,021 shillings to 8,821 every month.

    It is said that the salary hike was contained in the President's speech that was read to workers by the Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka in May Day celebrations at Uhuru Park.

    President Kibaki’s speech had it that the government will raise the basic pay by 13.1 per cent as party of the larger plan of the government to make working in the county a enjoyable experience for all irrespective of the field of work.

    Thanks to Atwoli for the fight he is fighting for workers. Low income workers are really unable to make ends meet with the little income they earn. We still hope for more consideration as the economy varies too.
