Default Where Did the Wife of Cain Come from?

After Cain had killed his brother Abel he became a fugitive and a wanderer.
Genesis 4:12 When you till the ground, it will no longer yield to you its strength; you will be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth.’
If you read Genesis 4:16 up to 17, you’ll learn that Cain settled in the land of Nod which is East of Eden. He married a wife and begat Enock. I am left in the dark regarding the wife of Cain. Where did she come from since Adam begat Cain and Abel? Does it mean that there were other people created by God apart from Adam and Eve?

Since the scripture rarely mentions the daughters who were born, and not every child born to a husband wife is mentioned according to Genesis 5:1-4, I think the wife to Cain would have been from the same family-a sister to Cain for the reason that sisters and brothers were marrying each other in the Old Testament. God does not reveal everything to us in scripture. He has chosen to reveal those things that are important.
It is true that gifts for best friends express friendship thoughts and emotions.

Adam and Eve had daughters and when Cain was cursed by God to be a wanderer he took alongside with him one of his sisters and made her his wife. There however is not a clear depiction as to where the wife came from but for his brother Abel, he killed him before he married. Could it be that just as God provided a wife for Adam so He did to Cain? And after all, how does this question enable our spiritual growth that is deserves much of our attention as Christian believers pondering with it?

I tend to agree with this. There matters in the bible that don’t deserve most of our attention I’d say. The bible rarely talks about the daughters of Adam.

Beating our brains out because of this will not help out. So let’s just assume that Adam had daughters and when Cain left, he took one of his own sisters and married. We are also told that Seth, Cain’s brother also married. And I believe the same applies in his case.
