A source has it that the new interim government has named the Prime Minister to assist in the governing of the transition that was as a result of last month’s coup that tried to seize power.
Rui Duate Barros, the former Finance Minister was named PM by the head of Guinea-Bissau’s government, Manuel Serifo Nhamadjo.
The country currently has a warning by ECOWAS that at least 650 troops will be deployed there to ensure peace come this Friday if constitutional rule is not employed.
