Default Do Striking Workers Have Rights?

Kenyan Doctors, University lecturers, Primary school teachers and KBC broadcasters have taken into strike action and their issues have been looked at by the government and just recently, at least 40,000 strong Kenya Heath Professionals went on strike over their pay. 25,000 of them have been sacked by the government for the government says that they were acting unethically.

Feel free to share on the rights of striking workers in Kenya.

They have a right to claim the pledges the government gave them but what irritates most is that they leave helpless patients die unattended. It is so inhuman of them but then let God do his part.

Everyone has rights to a fair pay. Why should they be paid lesser than the much they work? Why should they be discriminated against while other civil servants are given a pay rise? What makes doctors and teachers so different?

Besides, the government should honor their word. They should not make promises they intend to keep.

Extremely yeah! They essentially have the right to demand for their compensation and them striking isn’t a shocking demonstration! They do work for that; also have families and dreams in life. The government has to take effect!

As long as the price of commodities continue hiking, then every employee/institution and even citizen will have the right to strike.
